Didn't Kottaras catch him when he was on his rehab assignments? Not saying it's ideal, but they've seen each other before.

Forgot about that but he only caught one rehab start that was almost two months ago that lasted less than three innings.

Boy, it would be nice to have a good sinkerballer in the pen on a day like this...

What the heck is going on with Greinke? He's striking out batters like mad, but when they can actually make contact the ball seems to get smashed. I think we all know he'll be much better than this down the stretch, but boy is this getting frustrating.

I was just going to post that. Greinke's peripherals look great (gets his strikeouts, doesn't walk guys) but the balls that get hit get hit hard and a lot out of the park. Eventually it seems like his bad-luck percentages will come back to the norm but when? Also, this umpire seems to be giving everything to Garza and nothing to Greinke, at least according to FoxTrax.

Is that Rickie asking for a day off or something? Get your head out of your "rectum" moron!

What the hell was Weeks doing. His baseball IQ is cognitively disabled.

Obviously a dumb decision by Rickie, but at least it was the right TIME to be aggressive in a normal style game, with 2 outs and Morgan on deck.

I like this kind of game wind blowing out

both teams scoring in each of the first 3 innings
1 pitcher at 59 the other at 69 pitches

probably scoreless the rest of the way

Yeah, that was really stupid. The last person you wanna run on in their outfield is Fukudome, and it was right in front of him. Don't get that one at all. I can understand being aggressive in certain situations, but that isn't one of them. Not gonna get on him much though. He had a great game last night, and is having a great season.
