Seriously guys--Rickie's having a bad game. He's not a moron, he's not cognitively disabled, and he's not blind. Can we give the players on our team a break? Is this how we should be treating our soon-to-be All-Star second baseman?

Greinke definitely isn't locating, but you're going to have a lot of balls up in the zone when your catcher establishes very early in the game that he can't block a breaking pitch. The first one was indisputably Kottares' fault, and I think the second one was too.

Roenicke really needs to start benching Betancourt at least 3 games a week. We have 2 other SS on the roster, no reason Betancourt should start every game.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

This is a stretch. He's thrown plenty of breaking balls. He's getting way too much plate with too many pitches.

Might today be a breaking point for Yuniesky Betancourt? I think it's clear at this point that even a dismal platoon of Craig Counsell and Josh Wilson should easily outproduce Yuniesky.

Betancourt needs to be released.....a truly negative value player.....I wish Jeff Keppenger could play short because he would be a perfect trade candidate....could Izturis be available?

Atta boy Kottaras! Nice block. Bill actually looked smart there. That's kind of like Nieves hitting a single there.

Prince doesn't even try to block or scoop a ball at first. Just awful.

It short hopped right into him. He had no chance to catch it when the ball skipped up higher than you'd expect, but it at least hit him square. It was just thrown so hard it shot up into the air behind him.
