I figured we can start a topic to discuss the other LDS series.

Tampa vs. Texas

Detroit vs. New York

St. Louis vs. Philly

So far it is looking good for the Rays, up 6-0 in the 4th.

Best play of the LDS so far made by a fan in Texas.

To steal a Shannon Sharpe line: Tell Gov Perry to call out the National Guard because the Rays are killing the Rangers!

Matt Moore has some of the easiest cheese I've ever seen. Buck talking about the same thing right now. Then there are other guys who look like they're just firing it in there, they get a nice 'pop' and still only hit 93 or so.

Cooper Stone threw out the first pitch for the Ranger game....Try not getting teary from that. Poor kid.

Easily the best part of my day was that two minute stretch. It's too bad the Rangers stumbled so badly in game 1 with Cooper and mom in attendance. I hope the Rangers are a part of his/her healing process over the next few years.

Nobody's clutch like Jeter. Strikes out and reaches because Avila couldn't block it. You can't teach that and you can't teach his good looks and charm.

Yankees can afford $200 million per year in player payroll, but the fans get to sit in the rain and tomorrow it will probably fall into the mid 50s.

I get a lot of joy in that. Of course I wouldn't mind sitting in the rain if my team was guaranteed to be in the playoffs almost every year.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Hey Yankees, take the weekend off and play the games in Miller Park on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Looks like some people misjudged the weather pretty badly.

The heart says "yay" as the Phillies take the lead from the Cardinals, but the head says "no, the NLCS will be easier to win vs. the Cardinals".

Yep. I don't want the Cards to win, even though I know they are more beatable. Just don't like them and can't pull for them, regardless.

You may run like Mays...

So I know I should be rooting for STL because they aren't as good as Philly, but I am just enjoying Chris Carpenter labor through this first inning way too much.

I missed it, but what I'm seeing on Twitter is that La Russa ripped into the umpires giving the Phillies a different strike zone during that typically friendly chat with the booth from the dugout. Anyone see it?
