We are going to find out pretty quickly would we could get for Hart; Pence is on his way to SF. The return should be pretty comparable for a guy like Hart; although I think Hart might have a little more value (Probably moreso as a RF than 1B)

Hart is about the same player at about a 25% discount. He's worth more than Pence IMO.

I think Hart is a Brewer lifer. Taken a step further, I also think Rickie is as well. An offense moving forward with Braun, Hart, Weeks & Lucroy (maybe Aoki) for the next three seasons is fine by me given the rotation will likely feature cost controlled guys like Fiers, Peralta, Thornburg, etc...moving forward. I'm all for dealing Ramirez and giving the Brewers the ability to fill in SS (Segura), 3B (Green) & CF (Schafer) from internal means or via trade.

We'll see if there's anything to it. People are now saying this guy wasn't the only source to the rumor, so I think it's legit at this point. Doesn't mean a trade will happen though.

Sounds like this is made up now. Original source good bad info. So doesn't sound like it's happening. The Upton for Garza rumor is real though, so maybe the D'Backs will be looking for help in RF if they trade Upton.

Interesting. I don't really understand why Arizona would have interest in Hart, unless they have something in the works to move Upton. But they're pretty set at corner outfield with Upton and Kubel, and Goldschmidt has been pretty awesome at first.

I can't imagine one of Bauer/Skaggs/Bradley would be available for Hart. But they do have good pitching beyond that, as well as a good 3B prospect in Matt Davidson.

Olney tweeted the D'Backs are trying to get Garza and are using Upton to try to get him. That would leave a hole in RF (Parra could fill it but depth would be thin) and they just DFA'd Overbay leaving Goldschmidt (who isn't good against righties) as their 1B option.

MLBTraderumors says that ARI is not discussing Garza with the Cubs and have been after starting pitching not OF help; so perhaps they are talking with Crew but about Gallardo rather than Hart?

I want no part of Upton in a Brewers uniform. The vibe I've gotten from most Phoenix area media outlets is that he's worn out his welcome in AZ and has become somewhat of a clubhouse cancer. Nevermind the comments he made a few weeks ago when he was questioned about not giving.full effort on the field and he replied by saying "I don't care what the fans think about me". No thanks.
