Seemingly every game I'm thinking, "this is the worst game of the season. And then the next game, I think the same thing. Definitely a sign of a bad month...

I am sick of people letting Capuano off the hook and bashing Bush. Cappy is our worst starting pitcher right now and he hasn't performed in a whole year!

I can't believe that I'm still watching this 7-2 debacle. Then my cousin calls and kicks me in the gut telling me that he and his family are moving out of AZ to Minnesota.

(yay, Corey Hart. You now made it a save situation for the Rangers)

I don't think I could possibly hate MLB.com any more than I do right now. The amount of Flash on your site is not directly proportional to functionality!

I was away at college for the first part of the season and had to watch the games on MLB.TV...as a result, I didn't experience the horrid sight of Ann Carroll until a few weeks ago when I got home. My God, what is wrong with that woman's face!?

Every game is more painful than the last.

I promise to change the quote on my signature when the Brewers win 3 straight again...

...whenever that is.

I ahte to say it but I dont see this team getting out of this slide. If we cant even beat a lousy team like Texas who can we beat? This team was horrid on the road last year and this year appears to be more of the same. I really hope I am wrong but i expect the team to be below 500 within the next two weeks. At this rate I can truly see this team winning like 75 games.

Ok, here is the deal. I know why people are so frustrated with this team. It is because we play in the worst division in baseball, people think we are a playoff team and that we should therefore play like a playoff team.

Well, the reality is, this team is probably 6th ir 7th best in the NL and 15th or 16th best in baseball. In any other divsion this team would most likley be 30-31, or worse. We have .500 team talent HOWEVER because the division is so bad we have won a few more than we would have playing in another division, we lead this crappy division and now expectations have been raised.

We're not good. We're not bad. We are just an average team in a bad division, and that means no matter how bad we play, we might actually be playing for something in September...but not because of us, because of everyone else in the division.

Which teams, if any, have a worse record than the Brewers since the high water mark at 24-10?

And the thing left unsaid tonight when the graphic went up about the percentage of runs due to HRs was that the Brewers were sandwiched between the two worst teams in baseball in terms of record. A guy could make the argument that maybe the big start was an aberration, and the "real" Brewers are a team with an unsustainable offense and pitching that peaked about three weeks after spring training.

Brewers.com better keep that "Prince's deep shot not enough" headline on a hotkey. It's looking like they'll be able to reuse that link often.

Big Big Trouble. Huge Trouble. Bah. My Brewer soul was tricked. This team downright sucks. Staring a series loss to the Rangers is too much. shrug.

edit to say..sucks is relative.

WOW, A PREDICTION THAT THE BREWERS WILL BE UNDER .500 BY A CERTAIN DATE! THAT'S A NEW ONE!

Was this necessary? With the way they're playing it wouldn't be surprising.

Prince is playing like an MVP, Corey Hart is heating up, and Ryan Braun is heating up too. But still it's not translating into more victories.

Aren't we do for some good fortune now? It's been too long.

Oh and who said it earlier? Brett maybe? I sure am glad Gwynn and Mench were playing over Hart (who now has a .372 OBP and .841 OPS) solid choice there Ned.

We are do some luck but i am not sure what to expect with this 9 game road trip. Last night loss was not a good omen.

Agreed. The Tigers whooped us last year at home and they're good this year plus we're on the road and the Twins owned us last year and beat us in a series at home already so with the way this roadtrip has started and what it looks like after we're done with the Rangers it doesn't look too promising.

I hope they prove me wrong but nothing I've seen from this team in the past month (other than Prince and Sheets) gives me confidence.

It wouldn't be surprising if the Brewers finished the road trip 1-7? How much money are you willing to bet that comes true? Let me guess... and please, if I'm wrong, please send my a PM.

It's just too easy for everyone to spew pessimistic nonsense every other post. I appreciate the people are frustrated by the Brewers' recent crappy play but when every post is a "prediction" that the Brewers will be under .500 by such and such a date, it gets old really quick. These forums have simply become one huge vent thread.

And yes, the irony of me venting about a vent has not gone unnoticed.

With the way they've been playing I don't think it's unlikely. They've been playing like garbage on the road and the next two series they'll be playing teams that are better than they are both on the road.

I don't bet. It has nothing to do with me being afraid of losing money I just don't bet.

Yeah but isn't that what this thread is for? To be pessimistic so we don't clog up the board with a bunch of pessimistic viewpoints.

sorry but this was only my second prediction this year and the first came on the last roads trip . so sorry if your upset but its free to vent so i am venting.

If you think the Brewers have a greater than 50% chance of going 1-7 during the balance of this home stand, you've been spending too much time in this venting thread.

I'd have no problem if those posts could only be found only in the venting thread. The fact is that every IGT has about 5 posts of people predicting all kinds of silly things. It's spilled out into every corner of this message board.

I never said it was more than a 50% chance but I think it's better than the 1% chance or whatever it was that you posted earlier.

Well if that's the case then why would you attack the guy who actually posted it in the venting thread?
