well again, i think that TGJ should be batting leadoff. Rickie needs to be takin advantage of further down in the order, i think that with the power he has and his RBI potential he should be hitting 5th or even 2nd would be good. But we all saw how good tony gwynn has been and he deserves to play more and hit leadoff.

also counsell and graffinino aren't even around in the clutch anymore. I really hope that we can get Braun up really soon maybe even this weekend for the twins series and get this offense back on track. With their lack of offense at 3rd, it really doesn't help when others right above them are getting on base like tonight. Counsell didn't come through and crappinino didn't do it last night. Changes must be made!!!

Also, i think that Yost should use turnbow just like he has all year. He starts and finshes the 8th. When he does that it is pressure free and he can dominate hitters. But when he comes in with men on or a walkoff situation, he just doesn't do well. He should be strictly for the 8th or if they need a save when coco's unavailable.

These losses were well played games with good starting pitching and some flashes of offense but some very bad luck as well.

Fire Ned Yost because he chose a bench coach that lost a game for us. This last loss is all on Yost.

I blame Wang.

Wow you regulars weren't kidding about all the crazies that come out of the woodwork when the team does bad.

Yeah.

Pleasant, isn't it?

It's always the same dudes, too.

Mmm.....I'm glad to see that this has become the Official Condescencion Thread.

Pretty sure this thing was created to let people release anger and frustration with the team and not have to worry about getting attacked for it.

Ann Carol needs to go. I have her streak at 23 straight cut ins where she's been unable to get through 20 words without messing up.

Seriously.

This is DiMaggio-esque.

Just venting about all the other threads that have been started the last couple days about how the sky is falling now that we have lost a few games.

So you feel the need to call them "crazies"? --

The one thing that I have noticed, is that the "Pro-Brewers" group can really have a tendency to be pretty mean/aggressive to posters who have criticisms or concerns.

......which would be a great rant for the "What's Bugging You?" thread in the Off-Topic forum, considering it has nothing to do with baseball.

How does our closer not work in this game AGAIN?!

7 days in a row now? Did Ned forget he was out there? We were down 4 runs and getting 2 hit right?

Ned Yost...call your office.

This reminds me of the Pirates series in the last week of May last year. Cordero will blow a save tomorrow thanks to Ned's hideous bullpen management. UGH

I hate losing streaks. I hate slumps. I know they have to happen to every team but it's just such a downer. I'm leaving town tomorrow and will be out of touch with all things related to the civilized world for 10 days and this is the taste I have in my mouth when I leave. It doesn't taste like chicken...

Francisco Cordero: Pitches 6 straight days, then doesn't pitch at all for 7 straight days (and counting). I'm sure that's real great for his arm.

Hey, maybe Ned is trying to break his personal record from last year of going 10 straight days without using his best relief pitcher!

I'm mad at myself for looking at the standings a little bit ago and being momentarily content with 25-15. We're 1 and 5 on the roadtrip that was supposed to validate us, we've lost games we should have won, and we started tanking just as the nation had caught up with us enough to now start laughing at us again, and here I was complacent for an instant. Must be hanging around this site too much.

Stop the bleeding tomorrow, please!!

I just can't get this out of my mind . . . I am still absolutely furious at Ned Yost for leaving Derrick Turnbow in the game way too long on Monday. I had no problem with the last two losses, but I just find what happened on Monday to be totally inexcusable. In fact, these last two losses have made me even more angry about Monday because this mini-slide could have totally been prevented.

It's been three days, and I still can't get over that game. It should have never gotten that far.

The Brewers won a bunch of games they probably should have lost and now things are evening itself out. I'll take being 10 games over .500 in May any time.

I'm just glad I've been out of town and haven't had to watch the last couple of games. The box scores have looked awful!

Russ...I agree with you. Thank GOD you have not seen it.

I'm upset with myself cause I was hoping the Brewers wouldn't have a perfect game against them rather then hoping for the win. My hat is off to the Phillies for taking care of buisness at home.

My textured vent:

1. Get Weeks out of leadoff. Try Gwynn out. Yeah, I know, that complicates an already clogged outfield, but Weeks' popups and strikeouts are killing us.

2. Put Hardy at cleanup. He's raking, makes contact, and is hitting for power. Move Hall lower down so he can find his stroke again. Prince will see some pitches. If you think our best relief pitcher should be used more often regardless of situation, you should have no problem with your best hitter batting cleanup.

3. Fire Wynegar, again.

That is all.
