With the Pacers up next and the Clippers on deck, we are staring at a 7 game win streak. We own the Pacers and the Clips are 2-8 in their last 10. I'd love to stick the Bulls with an awful pick to make that Salmons deal even better

FEAR THE DEER

The Bucks are for real!

was at the game tonight, wasn't a sell out but crowd was hot

people need to come out and support this team!

Hopefully the Bucks get some national tv love soon. It seems like they haven't been on ESPN or TNT since the beginning of the season.

They actually just had a game added on ESPN a couple days ago. Bucks @ Clippers on March 17th. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Wow, that was the most fun I've had at a sporting event in a long time. Great game, Utah is a legit team and the Bucks outplayed them. The crowd was nuts, it gave me goosebumps and reminded me of the 01' season.

I can't believe the Bucks game isn't televised. You would think w/ them in the playoff race they would've found someway to make it a TV game. Does anyone know of a way to watch it?

I've watched games on channelsurfing.net but that assumes there's a broadcast somewhere. Is it on TV in Indiana?

Channelsurfing.net is the way to go. I watched the non-televised game against the mavericks earlier this year. Worthless dirk hit that shot at the end of overtime to win. Anyways, it looks like the bucks are on there today. I'm waiting for the broadcast to start now.

The game actually was working on there for a little bit. Had the Bradley Center Video feed. Now it's not working.

This will be the last game in NBA history that will not be broadcast by either team according to Paschke.

Edit: Feed is working again.

How do they know that about what games will be on TV in the future?
Apparently it's an NBA decision to make sure at least one city has a TV broadcast.

So uh, in a few minutes, we'll be only 5 games out of the 4th seed. With two games remaining against both BOS and ATL, 3rd isn't out of the question.

Division winners automatically get 1-3. 4th is the best they can do.
Ahhh caught myself there. I forgot the NBA changed the rules in 2005 with the playoffs. Was going to say not correct but you are correct 4th is the best the Bucks can do.

...pretty sure division winners are only guaranteed a 1-4 seed...just in 2007 division winner Utah got a 4 seed, while New Orleans got a 2 seed and San Antonio got a 3 seed.

From wiki: "The team that has the best record in each of the three divisions in

each conference is declared division champion. The three champions, and

the one other team in the conference with the best record are seeded

one through four by their records. This guarantees that the division

champions will be no lower than fourth seed, and also ensures that a

conference's two best teams (by record) are ranked as the top two. Of

the remaining eleven conference teams, the four with the best records

are seeded fifth through eighth based on their records."

"The previous playoff format, in place for the 2004-05 and 2005-06

NBA Playoffs, after the NBA was re-aligned into six divisions, created

controversy during the 2005-06 season and playoffs, and would be

changed prior to the 2006-07 NBA season.[2][/sup]

NBA division winners were seeded higher than any other playoff

participants, regardless of their record. Prior to 2004, when NBA was

aligned into two conferences with two divisions each, the top two seeds

in each conference were reserved for the division winners. This meant

that top two teams in a conference (by record) would be seeded either

first and second (if they were in opposite divisions) or first and

third (if they were in the same division). Because of the NBA playoffs'

preset matchups in the second round, this meant that the top two teams

in a conference could never meet until the Conference Finals, assuming

they both made it to that round.

After the NBA realigned its two conferences into three divisions

each, the seeding rules remained largely unchanged. The top three seeds

would now be reserved for division winners. This meant that if the top

two teams (by record) in a conference were in the same division, they

would be ranked first and fourth, and would face each other in the

Conference Semifinals, instead of the Conference Finals, if both teams

won their first round series."

The Bucks are chasing Atlanta, the Celtics look to be locked in the #3 or 4 seed. So even though the Celtics look to be about to collapse that won't help the Bucks.

3 Atlanta 9
