This whole, let's waste time and just wait for the dugout to confirm it is pretty silly. If you come out to dispute a call, it should be an automatic challenge.

I agree, it's obnoxious. It makes sense that the NFL does this because there is typically 45ish seconds between plays, so you have the natural break to review it internally. But this tactic is just annoying and makes the replay system look silly.

The replay system needs to be revamped, period. This whole, let's waste time and just wait for the dugout to confirm it is pretty silly. If you come out to dispute a call, it should be an automatic challenge. As long as the next pitch hasn't been thrown, the challenge should be allowed. The system itself just seems completely flawed in this regard.

We need a few random solo HR, I don't see this lineup stringing together any hits to actually score runs.

Batters would stall, or pitchers would step off, talk to the catcher, etc.

Can we please get some hits and runs here? If we lose to Bronson Arroyo I might cry. I simply don't like him and I have no idea why.

Probably because he's the douche bag who sits under a tree at the park and plays his guitar.

Here is what is going on with the game.......Arroyo throws junk pitch after junk pitch and the Brewers can't hit it.......rest of league doesn't seem to have that problem

The Brewers like to take the fun out of day baseball for some reason.

The game is on MLBN on Time Warner in Milwaukee. It's apparently the Diamondbacks' broadcasting team. I was thrown for a bit because Bob Uecker was broadcasting when I tuned in. I wonder if he was doing a "guest" inning for the Diamondbacks.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Not living in Wisconsin, I almost never get to listen to the Brewers on the radio. Today I am (well, via the MLB tv feed) and though I know many here think Joe Block is bad, he seems fine to me.

That's because it's a boring game which suits his style. :tongue

Wishing the Brewers had signed Arroyo this offseason...not for him to pitch, but to prevent Arroyo from facing the Brewers, repeatedly owning them, and causing me to want to break things.

He's the exact type of pitcher a free swinging team like the Brewers can't hit - not patient enough to force him into throwing alot of pitches and never really getting good pitches to hit.

75 pitches through 7. If you're not going to hit him, at least make him work so you can see if you can hit the bullpen.

Arroyo is known for gopher balls; would it just kill someone on the Brewers to hit a mistake pitch once in a while. These double plays are just maddening.

I'm watching MLB.tv, and they're showing people eating nachos in the stands more than the game itself.

If we end up losing this series, I'm going to cry. This team was 11-23 coming into our house, and a pitcher with a 6+ ERA is going to hold us to a run.

Sigh, guy advancing to third on a passed ball. No outs. This is ugly.

Again with the nachos in the stands. Hello, MLB, there's a game going on. I don't care about the ugly couple in the stands eating.

Weird having Uecker calling on tv.

Overbay boots the grounder to first, safe at first, the throw to home too late.

Joy.

So Arroyo singles off Smith and somehow advances to 3rd on a wild pitch? What happened?

Arroyo singled off Smith and advanced to 3rd on a wild pitch.

Can we score two runs with 6 outs left?
