That's what happens when you run hard once a month. And he didn't even run hard the entire way.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Miley coming up big again today. Wonder how he'd have done in a full season?
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Two mistakes by Aguilar. Didn't see the ball get past the catcher and then just started jogging to 2nd assuming he'd make it without a throw.

Cannot stand it. Just can't.

Honestly not sure how you reverse that call at second, and not reverse the call at home.

The radio guys were left speachless. Basically said Wow 2 or 3 times before cutting to commercial.

They were absolutely confident it should have been out at home and safe at second. To quote "why have a replay system if it can't get the call right" for the call at home.

I’m not into complaining too much about umpiring, but that was the worst call I have ever seen. The plate is totally blocked off and the runner has to slide through the glove and leg of Kratz and he is somehow called safe. Even after reviewing it, they still got it wrong.

I think his leg might have gone through before the tag was applied because Kratz had to backup to give himself a decent hop to catch it on. They also might have called him safe for blocking the plate as well. The throw took him over there but his leg was back and then he stuck his leg in front of the plate and didn't give him a clear path to slide.

Aguilar's foot never hit the base.

The league should just be transparent and save time and say a Brewer opponent has the right to call their guy safe or a Brewer out twice a game, without even wasting time on watching a replay.

His lack of effort has been on display all year. Home runs and clutch hits cover up a lot of those moments. Now that he’s back to average, this is more evident. Pretty sure you’ve been on this all year....and now it’s on full display.

I rarely listen on the radio but when I do and there's a replay they are always very critical of replay.

95% of Billy Hamilton's career home runs and almost home runs have come against the Brewers. You don't need to look up this stat to know it's a fact.
