I'm guessing the trade for Greinke doesn't get done at all if Cain isn't included. Our farm wasn't loaded with attractive pieces, especially after having just unloaded Lawrie. I was surprised we were able to piecemeal enough together to land Greinke at all.

I mean it makes total sense that they did it, but the Dodgers really stacked their roster with lefties for this series. I sure hope that some changes are made on future rosters to combat the advantages lefties have against this lineup.

Maybe. Cain really only had one good year before the trade and wasn't the centerpiece.
