Agreed! I've been on the Houser bandwagon for awhile now. Hoping he grabs the bull by the horns tonight and forces the Brewers to leave him in the rotation.

Hopefully, Yelich puts up a 6-spot of home runs up on this series.

Cards fans are claiming he can't hit a home run outside of Miller Park.

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.

lol

I'd also like to see some pouring it on tonight!

Moose sits with his injury and Thames (thankfully) getting the start against the RHP.

Expecting 2 hits from Houser and 2 hits from the rest of them.

You must be talking about internet "fans"...real baseball fans know better.

Remember 2 years back that the Cards and Cubs would have ended with the same record had they split the season series? Well, so far you guys are doing it to us. :embarrassed de ja blue

I for one am tired of the schedule. Same times over and over. I know someone pointed out the logistics of it, but annoying. I wanna see more...Dbacks, Giants, Marlins, etc. :)

Coming into today the Brewers are allowing the 4th highest amount of scoring in the 1st inning across all of MLB. They are averaging 0.70 runs allowed in the 1st inning. The only teams worse are the Indians, Astros, and Mets.

Hey look, just before I hit submit a double play to get out of the 1st!

Good Grief. Feels like a story I've already seen the end to.

A solid first inning?

Just the opponent. Felt like every episode has been the same characters.

Houser looked great after that walk, and even in that AB the 1st two pitches were borderline. Weak contact from Goldy, DeJong looking like a fool chasing upstairs, and then inducing the GIDP. Nice start

New starting pitcher for the Brewers at least. That's different.

Nice velocity too. I saw a bunch of 95s and a 96 or two. Houser is a nice power arm.

It's probably my imagination but it seems like our shifts are being beaten more this year.
but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Our MVP is not blessed with the strongest of arms.

Wong with 13 hits in 8 games against the Brewers. 7 hits in 14 games against the rest of the league. Goldy and Wong must love seeing the Brewers on the schedule!
