Thames to DL would seem to fit. That would give them a logical preview of how the roster would work with Hiura and without Thames.
but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Well, this is earlier than I anticipated, but if there's an injury, it simply forces the Brewers hand.

Let's hope Keston comes up and doesn't look back. Excited to see him in Milwaukee, even if it's just a short stint.

Love the fact they not waiting any longer, super two be darned, I guess they can send him back down if he struggles, but if he hits, they can sign him to an extension. Yes, really wondering what the corresponding move will be?

If the Brewers don't win the division I should be banned. However, they will.

Good. Now we'll get to see a rookie being an actual rookie and not the savior of baseball he seems to have been unfairly projected to be.

Could move Jimmy Nelson to the 60-day IL for a short term solution. Not sure when the IL list officially kicks in for a season, but even if it was opening day that would leave him to be called up at worst May 28th.

Yea, shame on all of us for being excited about one of the best prospects in baseball!

Braun looked horrible his first couple of games. I think he came up and faced Peavey or something and looked like he'd never played baseball before. Lucky for Keston the IF bar has been set pretty low for him so it won't be super difficult to be an upgrade.

I'm just as excited to see what he can do. I'm just not expecting him to be Fred Lynn like it seems a lot of people are.

I wasn't a month ago but he has been crushing the ball in AAA. I still have tempered expectations, but like I said, he could be pretty raw and still be a boost compared to what we've been doing.

Vlad Jr. was supposed to be the greatest hitting prospect in forever and he has struggled mightily. It's a big jump to MLB.
