I was thinking they would send Shaw down to AAA to get his stuff figured out. He still has two options remaining.

I would guess Shaw since he has options but given the timing right after Thames spent the night gritting his teeth I would guess it's him to DL.

Could move Jimmy Nelson to the 60-day IL for a short term solution. Not sure when the IL list officially kicks in for a season, but even if it was opening day that would leave him to be called up at worst May 28th.

Braun looked horrible his first couple of games. I think he came up and faced Peavey or something and looked like he'd never played baseball before. Lucky for Keston the IF bar has been set pretty low for him so it won't be super difficult to be an upgrade.

I wasn't a month ago but he has been crushing the ball in AAA. I still have tempered expectations, but like I said, he could be pretty raw and still be a boost compared to what we've been doing.

Vlad Jr. was supposed to be the greatest hitting prospect in forever and he has struggled mightily. It's a big jump to MLB.
