Darvish scratched with forearm tightness. Chatwood is the starter.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Forearm tightness. That can be bad. https://climbingtalshill.com/2014/03/21/tommy-john-surgery-draft/ Very bad

As a Tyler Glasnow fantasy owner, I agree.

Got all my today stuff done. Ready for a September marathon.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Look for Cubs to cancel game due to rain if Chatwood throws too many pitches in the 1st.

The Cubs are very, very, tough at Wrigley. Jumping on them early is a key to beating them like yesterday. What a wasted opportunity. Chatwood has reduced his walks and isn't quite as bad as most of you think. Shaw is useless at the plate.

I really wanted the Brewers to sign Darvish. Glad they didn't at this point.

Darvish has been one of their better second half pitchers and the MLB "bobble heads" were even arguing that Darvish would be a logical choice to start in a wild card game.

The Brewers won their first game in Wrigley Field this year 7-0. In the 8 games there since then, counting today, they have scored a total of 10.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I swear nearly every game I watch with Baez in it, he must hold up the game some how. Whether it is strutting around like a peacock or faking an injury.
