yeah, it's a small sample, but Pomeranz is a stud in the pen.

All these guys weren’t seen as difference makers. Now they are impressing in September. I like it. I’m with you on Lyles maybe being the MVP the last two months.

Arcia plays with the looseness of a productive star, even though he's an easy out.

I laughed at loud at this, good stuff.

Arcia pumped the end of the season is coming up so his BA stays above .200 and his OPS will be above .600

I will be happy when Arcia is off the team.

When a player struggles as badly as Arcia, I'd like a little less playful enthusiasm and a little more grouchy self criticism. But Arcia plays with the looseness of a productive star, even though he's an easy out.

Agreed. At this point going into arbitration who knows if he’s even tradable. Likely a nontender. At least get a guy that can hit a sac fly.

Grisham just really impresses me. I don't see him as a guy who is going to be an MVP or anything, but I just see him as someone who is going to be a really solid player in this league for a long time. He's 22 but plays like a much older player.

Yah, he flat out sucks. We could cycle random $2mil FA guys at this point and come out ahead every time.

He certainly comes off the wrong way always goofing around etc. That may not be reflective of his work ethic, but it is just kind of annoying when he has been one of the worst hitters in baseball for multiple years now. He is laughing, but I sure ain’t watching him.

My hubby has no use for him either.

Which is why I think he can only get better!

I like the kid too.

Always had a prospect crush on him for his OBP heavy approach. I figured if he could just be average offensively overall in everything else he would be a solid top of the order hitter for years. Maybe he never makes an AS game, but to have a guy like that in the line up is just real beneficial for the team. It is the equivalent of getting the 6th man award in the NBA. He makes the team around him better.

Arcia plays the way he should play. I’m sure as heck glad he does too. It’s a game. It’s supposed to be fun. I’m sure he would love his stat line to be better but he’s still an important piece for us and his teammate seem to love him.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I partially agree with you. I don't have a problem with the way he plays. However, I also don't think he's an important piece for us. The beautiful plays he makes from time to time aren't enough to offset his many deficiencies. I think we've been more than patient and his time has come and gone and it's time to look in a different direction in the offseason.
