Wasn't Newfield the top guy we got for Sheffield

 

Close ... Greg Vaughan.

 

Vaughn was actually drafted by the Brewers.

 

Sheff trade was Ricky Bones, Matt Mieske & Jose Valentin.

 

No, Newfield was the top guy who came back from the Padres for Vaughan.

Narvaez goes into Taylor's spot and Gamel stays in the games. Narvaez can still catch and Gamel starts the 8th at second base..

The Arcia ab was so bad. It just can't be overstated. How is it allowed to happen year after year?? The guy just doesn't understand the game. It's a lack of accountability.
