The Cubs Codi Heuer (acquired from the White Sox in the Kimbrel trade) is going for the two inning save it appears.

Levering and Grindel have been talking about how Burnes has been struggling to locate the cutter, not using his change, has been just laboring tonight, etc, etc, etc, and I have been half listening while working on a project and posting here, and I'm like ..... "I don't recall the Cards getting a hit yet", and I check the box score and sure enough, they don't have a hit.

I’d rather think of it as Reds lose, not Cubs win.

 

Get used to rooting for the Cubs over the next few years. There will probably be many games where we're rooting for them to play spoiler.
