Cain 2-for-18 in his last 20 plate appearances. Hoping he can get something going this series.

Fortunately for him his offensive counterpart is named Jackie Bradley Junior.

Shut up about "too close to take", Rock. A ball is a ball. Don't insult a guy for having a good eye and being punished for it.

Probably the thing that he says that I hate the most.

I agree. But is he wrong? 2 strikes you can’t leave it up to the umps interpretation. We’ve seen all year it’s all over the board with these umps.

This umpire is inconsistent at best. I sure hope the umpiring doesn’t end up like the last Reds series at home. It was brutal if you remember.

I was just going to post the same thing. It's not going to be another one of these series where the Reds will get every call, is it?

We can only hope not.

Omar didn’t help Corbin on that curve ball that umpire missed……it shouldn’t matter but when you catch a curve like that it’s easy to fool the umpire

You know who isn't fooled by a good or bad frame job? A robot umpire.

Craig won’t make it through this game

This is why I hate hearing its too close to take. You’re not doing anything with that pitch besides breaking your bat if you swing.

I'm ok with Craig getting himself tossed right about now. This is inexcusable and unfair, and we can't allow the umpires to set the tone for the series.

Since the beginning of baseball pitches on or near the corner have sometimes been called strikes and sometimes balls. There is no possible way a human being behind home plate will call 100% of those pitches the same way the box on the tv calls them. By taking a borderline pitch, you run the risk of striking out...

Thus, "too close to take"

The strike calls consistently going against the crew is getting to conspiracy level. What the absolute crap? Can they file a motion against the league here? The letter grades for umpires all support this notion

The Brewers only need one more run to increase their per game average against the Reds at AFF.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I miss the days when the strike zone box wasn’t a fixture on screen for every pitch. When robots call the game, keep it on. Then at least it would be more concrete…..
