That might be the worst half of special teams I've ever seen at the professional football level, and this is probably the 4th time this season that I've said that.

And each time you were correct. They continue to get worse not better.

The good news is that we get to fumble the second half kickoff.

I'm going with a safety after they kick it around the end zone for about 10 minutes.

The Bears played about as good as they can and are only up by 6. The Packers better come out and dominate the 2nd half.

The other way you can look at it is this. The Packers scored 21 points against the Bears in one half, and are somehow down 6.

Makes you wonder why teams never try fake punts/FGs against our vaunted ST unit.

I really thought Nagy would pull the fake on their first FG from the 5.

Is Bostick at the game? and if so is he wearing a Bears jersey?

Even bad special teams units have an occasional good return or random stuff on a kickoff coverage....GB's is honestly better off just kicking or punting everything out of bounds and not even trying to field any kicks themselves, even if it sacrifices 20 yards of field position every time.

It's a race between special teams and oline injuries that will be the reason this team doesn't have a shot at reaching the super bowl....special teams opening up a pretty big lead right now.

Is there any mistake that this special teams cannot commit?

Well they haven't committed a safety........ Yet.

Shades of Walter Stanley, 1980's.

I don't understand how you can consistently have special teams that are this bad, year after year, and how they can continue to not figure it out. Most every other team can at least figure out how to not let their coverage/return units be noticed too much. Seriously, we don't even need good. We literally just need them to not be noticed, we don't even need them to be good.

might need 45+ to win this one
