I like Patrick Mahomes (can’t say the same about his wife or brother), but I think he’s easy to root for. That said, I find it amusing that he’s stuck on 1 Super Bowl after being hailed as the next big thing. It’s not so easy now, is it?

I'm sick of his hype and root against him every single time...

His attention seeking brother and fiance make it that much easier...

Glad he's out, and go Bengals! (or as Tony Romo says, BAngles...He pronounces it like the band The Bangles, you know, It's just another Manic Monday...) Also sick of listening to Romo blather on and on and on and on and on and on.

I'm just getting Google updates but this is such a total embarrassment as a Packers fan. I'll never live that loss to SF down. Worse than Seattle in some ways but I think that one still takes the cake. An utterly wasted opportunity, more so than previous years. Garopollo is just awful and they lost to a team that didn't score a TD on offense. Just unbelievable incompetence. And I don't think Cincy is any pushover, but this season was completely wide open for the taking, especially with Buffalo and KC getting knocked off.

Cincy is going to have an unreal QB-WR tandem for years though.

At this point it's sadly just expected this time of year. It's hard for me to even look at it like a blown opportunity knowing all too well that they might very well have blown it against the Rams or blown it against the Bengals.

This game looks awfully familiar. All credit to San Francisco’s pass rush, but it’s pretty awful that LA is losing at the half here. Deebo Samuel getting lit up again, but Kittle is getting enough to keep a few drives moving. Meanwhile, the Rams can’t cash in their opportunities and an untimely turnover looms large.

This is really, really testing my effort to not fixate on what if with this packers team anymore. It’s completely pointless and unhealthy, but my gosh, the Lombardi was on a platter.

Nothing will ever match the Seattle debacle in Packer lore.

The only bigger fail in the history of the NFL playoffs is probably the Houston - Buffalo game in 1993 with an honorable mention to the Falcons super bowl fail.

The NFC was most certainly on a platter but the Packers were lucky to beat Cincinnati in October.

I'll never understand why coaches challenge spot of ball placement, especially when you have to sift through a scrum. They're next to unwinnable. Just pure stupidity.

I still cannot for the life of me figure out why any CB defending a Garoppolo pass ever plays outside leverage. Jimmy G almost never throws outside, certainly not past ten yards. He lives inside, so why people constantly give him exactly what he wants is beyond me.

That was a heck of an effort to pick up that first down. The Rams had him dead to right. Reminds me of the Mark Ingram play in the Super Bowl but less dramatic.

I think SF is going to win the Super Bowl. They will absolutely humiliate the Bengals OL. If they could score at all it has the potential to be a terrible game. But their offense stinks enough to maybe keep it close.

It must suck to have your home games feel like a neutral field.

I was told the people of L.A. don't care about football because they have the Lakers :)

When the Rams played the Patriots a couple of years ago I happened to be in Hawaii for that Super Bowl. I watched it (sort of) while having dinner at a bar. A group of 3-4 people walked in wearing Rams shirts and jerseys. They glanced at the TV and said "3-0, huh, low scoring game." Then sat at a table facing away from the TV. I remember thinking how weird it all was.

St Louis would be going nuts right now. Sad.

Controversial question coming here, but did the Bengals demonstrate today that a good offensive line isn't really all that important?

When you have playmakers across the board like the Bengals do, not really.
