Feels like it's going to be a rough start to the season.

Spring training pitching woes are showing no signs of fading.

Hope they get things turned around in/by May.

Certainly not a lot of positives to take away from today’s performance thus far, but I guess at least they removed the drama early.

Out of all the early season predictions, there is no way "Brewers won't be able to throw strikes" would be high on the list of probabilities. But here we are.

Counsell threw in the towel after the first inning. 
 

Thank goodness for yesterday’s postponement. This pitching staff is not ready for the season and at least a 3 game sweep by the Cubs isn’t as bad as a 4 game sweep. 
 

Maybe by the end of May they’ll be ready.

So ... maybe not a great idea to sign a guy off the scrap heap who had no Spring Training, and immediately add him to the ML squad and throw him in Game 2 of the season?
