Rock says he wasn’t out of the baseline and seems fairly shocked. I personally didn’t think it was an egregiously bad call, he was definitely on the grass.

Yeah, but was it that much different from when a baserunner circles around first to go to second? It was a call that could've gone either way, I suppose.

It's one of those calls that was probably technically correct(or at least a judgement call coin flip), the issue is that 98% of the time if a runner takes that same path he's not called out.

I love random stats ?

You get three feet each side from your established bath path to avoid the tag.  I’d say it was a bad call as I doubt it more than 3 feet from the line to the grass.

Freddy Peralta leaving with an apparent shoulder issue on the verge of a 10-day, 11-game road trip. That’s not great news.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Brewers need to do some more defensive drills or something.

Time for Ethan Small's major league debut?

If the only Brewers games you saw were the ones we’ve attended the last two years you would assume they were a 100 loss team.

Why are we calling up small unless Ashby is going into the bullpen permanently? We don’t need a six man rotation, it’s just a luxury.  As I’m typing Ashby taking suters role might be a good idea…

A crash course in Murphy's Law.

Playing Brosseau at SS just set the table. Classic brewers trying to fit square pegs in round holes.

For a team that was 26-14 (best 40-game record in our 53-year history) … we surely have laid more than our fair share of eggs in a quarter season

I understand losing games - but we’ve been non-competitive in several losses … a tad annoying to me

Washington is a bad team, but you can’t play Brosseau at SS … that began what has been a less than stellar day

And don’t get me started on Suter - I love his personality & positivity, but he’s been mediocre on the mound this year
