Two runs might be enough for Musgrove. Is Burnes going to be outdueled by the other team's ace again?

Again? You say that as if he hasn’t been one of the best pitchers (if not the best pitcher) baseball thus far. And he literally just outdueled Mikolas last week.

What about when the poster is absolutely wrong?

Opinion versus fact, I hope I was clear. Also there has been much condensation with this in-game threads the year. Similar the the old ESPN and JSONLINE site were in the past.

I never said Burnes hasn't been good. It's just that more often than not the opposing pitcher is better.

Not really. The only one where he truly got “outdueled” was Stroman.

Many people think their opinions are fact.

With Woodruff and Peralta on the mend, it's not a great time for Burnes to have a bad game.

Woodruff is on the mend, but it probably is a good idea to treat Peralta like he’s done for the season.

When I hear “out for a significant time” and “expect him back some time this year” but with no time estimate, it sounds to me like he won’t be back until September at the earliest, and that’s with no setbacks. Anything before that would be a pleasant surprise/bonus.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Burnes does not get outdueled, the offense fails him.  Especially with all of the good hitters out, wes obermueller could outduel burnes tonight.

That has become a nationwide epidemic. Reasoned evaluation of data has gone the way of the Dino.

This is the society we live in.  Then presenting facts is a personal attack

Game thread, guys. GAME thread.

Our standards for Corbin are so high that two runs is cause for concern.

It is my opinion that the Brewers defense has left something to be desired lately.

To me what's of concern is all the hard contact Burnes gave up so far

The offense fails him because the pitcher is pitching lights out. That's how it works.

I’m not concerned about Burnes. He’s striking guys out. Padres are putting some good at bats together and he’s left a pitch or two in the wrong spot.

Cains bat speed is now equivalent to a 40 year old slow pitch hitter.

Hey.  Some of us old farts can still smoke the ball in the bar leagues.
