Once the play happened, there's no cosmic karma that dictates it needs to be balanced out by some tipping of the scales.

Of course not, but you often hear complaints when a team gets a bloop hit or a seeing eye single.

On TV when I saw that leave the bat I thought it would be a solid hit to LF driving in a run. When the camera first got to Reyes I thought he had caught it on the fly.

Now don't stop scoring runs, because as much as the Phillies defense will give, their offense is capable of getting a lot back.

The Brewers defense has been giving its share too.

Not on that last play. And I wasn't even talking about the Brewers' defense. Either way, they still need to score runs.

Levering may be hoping the next ball goes right to Hiura but I’m not.

I get the logic. End on a high note.

Keston just needs to go.  Its never going to be good for him here.  Fresh start or whatever.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

I get that CC is saving Peterson for a possible PH/3B/SS later, but the negative of having Hiura at 2B for most of the rest of the game, as well as having him hit against a lefty outweighs ANY possible plus of having Peterson available later.

Especially with a ground ball pitcher. Like it's one thing if Peralta's pitching, but not with a guy like Alexander who relies so heavily on inducing ground balls.

If I had gone to tonight’s game not knowing it was dog night, I would be so ticked off. Are they only in certain sections?

Why would you be mad that there's some dogs at the ballpark? That's weird.
