MLB hasn’t officially listed today’s starters so I’m trusting this Todd Rosiak Tweet…

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Ashby is back!    So I’m assuming he’s on a count.   Let’s hope our middle/long relief pitches better than the first game of this series

plus it’s nice to feel confident about our offense for once.    They’ve been on a nice consistent streak lately

I agree about the offense.

I’m a lot more encouraged seeing the offense score consistently in the 4-6 range against teams like the Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Rays than I am about piling on 19 runs against the Pirates in a game that was all but over in the second inning.

Tellez could have had a hit if he had unstrapped the piano from his back.

Arenado is starting on another cycle with an HR following a Goldschmidt single. And Gorman follows with another HR and Yepez makes it back to back to back

Still waiting for some of these new Cardinals to cool off.

Then Carlson makes it 4 straight HR.

Gorman had cooled off until that home run. Only had a .618 OPS in June.

Wow Back to Back to Back to Back HRs for the Cards. Gibson throwing up meatballs apparently. They should have a harder time against Wheeler tomorrow.

Terrible base running by Peterson. On a line drive like that he has to be going back to the bag.  If it gets through he can stroll home anyway.

Going to be one of those days.

19 yesterday and 2 today with about 11 double plays.

It always seems like the game after a big outburst is a dud.

Ashby continues to disappoint……obviously first start back but he wasnt good before he got hurt either.

Big reverse splits which is kind of baffling.

Ashby's stuff is so good, but he needs to work on getting ahead of hitters.

Yup.  The raw stuff is definitely there.  Just gotta harness the control and command.
