Yeah, we got a break there!  Good eyes, ump!  Is that the same ump who said Yelich swung yesterday in the 9th inning when he didn't?

It was too dark for me to tell.
That was probably one where the call on the field decided it.
Brewers might have gotten a break.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

With how Quintana has been throwing the ball lately (he shut down the Yankees in his last start), this was a pretty good performance by the offense. Now, time to take it to the Pirates bullpen.

No, it is not the worst. Padres, Rays, etc.

I’ll trade lineups with the Padres but you are right about Tampa if you consider them a contender.

The stats say the Padres are worse. All of them. They have Machado and that's it (for now).

If we did go and get Reynolds, it's worth noting that he's not a very good defender in CF....

That would require Chourio being in the deal and that’s a definite no from the Brewers.

If the prospect of Tatis returning comes along with the Padres offense I would take them too.

He has more potential to be a difference maker than Renfroe or Taylor.

They play in a pitchers park compared to miller

but they could still be bad.

Not necessarily. Wiemer and Frelick would get them close. I'd consider that.

I don’t know if we are going to get last year or early season lauer back

he just doesn’t look good out there

You don't like his last start or today's start? Cause I do....3.83 ERA from your #4 starter is exactly what you want.

I would be okay with Wiemer & Mitchell & maybe Antione Kelly … I’d like to avoid losing Chourio & Frelick & Small

Advanced stats like WRC+ literally take ballparks into account. The Brewers' WRC+ is 104, which is slightly above league average, while the Padres WRC+ is 98, which is slightly below league average.
