The over managing of the position players and pinch hitting for no reason is only made sillier by the statue inaction of the bullpen. There is an argument to be made Craig Counsell has had the worst year of any manager besides Tony Larussa who is 80 years old.

If all this season accomplishes is Craig Counsell’s receiving a pink slip,,I’m good with that. We’re clearly going nowhere with him.

How many games have his boneheaded decisions cost us this season?

The Diamondbacks are breaking out the whooping sticks on the Phillies again after scoring 13 unanswered runs on them last night. 

They’re warming up for the Brewers’ visit this weekend.

So entering tonight Cruz had an OPS 1.064 against the Brewers. It's his highest opponent OPS. There's only one other opponent of his where he's even over .800. He just murders the Brewers. In the last 30 minutes of the game he walked, scored the go-ahead run, doubled and knocked in an insurance run, finally getting the last out of the game on a throw to first only he could make.
