Maybe you can write an article and name them all.

I thought that was obvious sarcasm and no need for blue font but I guess not.

In all seriousness, it would be nice to see an article that discusses the issues with some of the "stats" that are used.  blown save is definitely one of the contenders for the most useless stat.

I'm not going to say it's exactly a useful stat, but Box is one of the worst in the league in allowing inherited runners to score. Perhaps the combination of those two stats would indicate he might not be the guy you call on in such situations.

Inherited runners scoring is definitely an underused stat that has some value.  Nelson (ARI Pitcher) coughs up the lead last night by walking 3 batters and ends up with the win (because Davies gave up the initial hit).  He was the worst of all the pitchers, but they scored 2 in the bottom half to take the lead.  Another useless stats in many ways.

Yep, he’s one of the guys hitting .240 with a sub .320 OBP ?

Well he is running them out there. He picked them along with Stearns. Fire them both that's cool.

The date is July 8th, 2022. The Yankees have just beaten the Red Sox 12-5 and won the first 2 games of a 4-game set in Boston. They now hold a 15.5 game lead over the Rays in the AL East and own the best record in baseball. They are on pace to break the single season wins record.

It is now September 3. They are 15-25 since the break holding a 4 game lead over TB.

So, in a little less than 2 months, the Yankees have lost 11.5 games in the standings to the Rays.

In 5 weeks the Brewers have lost 12.5 games in the standings to the Cardinals.

The Yankees will still be in the playoffs and can still win the World Series if they get hot.

The Brewers…well, you know.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

The thing about Counsell is he doesn't show any fire or intensity. Postgame even he never expresses any urgency or accountability. That's a red flag for me. Give me fire and urgency over the Mr. cool we will turn it around someday. Along with several hundred million dollars the Mets got better because Buck is a known hard ass who plays no favorites. Money definitely matters but it isn't everything.

Prefer a head first slide there.

I think Burnes has a dead arm.

The whole goal #1 for him to start 30 or 32 games or whatever was silly.  Would be best to skip a start, or given where the standings sit, possibly shut him down.

There's not one foundational position player on the Brewers. I'm not talking 2018-2019 yelich, but like a solid, borderline All Star. Woof.

How about Renfroe?

The fact I'm not sure if you're serious or not says it all haha.

On a good team, renfroe should be the third or fourth best player.

Ruiz is barreling up the ball tonight with some bad luck!

Keep swinging, Esteury!

Haha. The slogan of the 2023 Brewers: barreled up with bad luck.
