He is managing like it is a spring training game allowing a pitcher to get his work in. I would say an elimination game is not the time to do that.

I feel like this is the World Series for Latin American country players, while the US just doesn’t really care. I can understand that especially with pitchers after seeing what happened to Diaz.

Average velo on the FB was 92.8 which is 1 mph lower than his average last year and is pretty similar to his average velo in the Columbia game (93.2)

Most of the American RP last night were about half a mph under their average FB velo from last year so yeah that might be the case.
