Even worse in that scenario if the bullpen is dead 4 days from today and needs that from BW. Then what if he doesn't make it through 4?

You seem to be concerned that not getting 2 more outs from Woodruff tonight is going to unravel the next two weeks.

There are a lot of “what ifs” that could happen and Counsell will deal with them as they come up.

There are 8 guys in the bullpen. If they’re all dead in 4 days things have gone seriously wrong.

Well, how about that - our loser manager let Brice Turang face a lefty.

LOL, I was thinking it but didn't have the courage to type it.

This is a situation that always makes me a little uneasy.

I get trying to finish off the game without using Williams. But if Wilson runs into immediate trouble, they can’t bring in Williams until he’s faced 3 batters.

Worst case scenario: Wilson doesn’t retire anyone and Williams comes in with nobody out, the tying run at the plate, and the top of the Cardinals order coming up.

I don’t want to see Goldschmidt again until tomorrow.

Or he kicks ass, and Brewers win six in a row! LFG!!!

Early in the season but the Cardinals do not look like the clear favorite in the NL Central.  It is going to be a long season for them if they can't figure out their rotation.

Bullpen wasn't all that great either.

I’d like to take this moment to remind everyone that this team just beat their biggest rival and is now 6-1, literally the best record in the league.

But they’re only 1 game ahead of those pesky Pirates. 😀
