I think we’re going to see a few innings of Javy Guerra taking one for the team tonight. 

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I like Guerra lot. He's got easy cheese at 99 with a lot of movement.

Lauer is probably one of the more frustrating pitchers on our roster to watch. There are times he makes you believe he has ace upside and there are times he makes you wonder if he even belongs in the bigs at all.

He's got to hit his spots to be effective. He doesn't have overpowering stuff, and he's been struggling with control all evening.

Unfortunately in his outing against the Cubs it moved out of the strike zone.

This is one of those 50 or so games that you just lose and move on, not one of the 60 you fight over.

Unfortunately - we are due a clunker after six straight wins 

I hate to burn the bullpen 

I’d rather see Lauer “take one for the team” & get to 95-100 pitches before he exits 

Maybe he can work out the kinks & be good for his next start

I think I’ll watch a TV show & follow the game via my phone until we show some sign of life
