a few things…

Don Sutton’s interview and gratitude…wow.

Charlie Moore thanking Harry Dalton for being hardheaded and not listening to his demand for a trade.

Yount and Molitor interviewed by Uecker…

Ladd’s awe of the moment.

never seen this postgame footage before!!! So great!

And Gene Match’s entire conversation… every word. Said Vuch had nothing and knew he had nothing…and still did well.

I get as sick of hearing about 1982 as the next guy but this feels different to me. It's not just the Brewers running out these guys again to sell tickets it is a full length documentary movie. Almost feels like a swan song, a last hurrah. Perhaps a passing of the torch and this current team is destined to do something special.

Unfortunately, I have to hope for one of two things:

a) That they release the movie onto a streaming service (besides Bally's)

b)  That it's still playing somewhere in the Fox Cities area when I'm visiting Wisconsin in the first week of October.

It's only here from Sept. 13th through the 18th.

I don't understand why they couldn't at least show it for 2 weeks.

I think you are onto something here.  Yount is almost 70.  Gorman is in his early 70's.  Gumby is 71.   I think some of these guys are going to start passing on.

That has already begun.  Rob Picciolo, Don Sutton, Pete Ladd. Even Doug Jones (though he's better known for his late 1990s Brewers tenure).

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Saw the movie tonight in Oshkosh….great.  Loved the added highlights and video from a well-known Brewers story. Parade scenes really made the movie. Without the WS7 loss, there is no movie. Unreal emotional for those old Brewers guys talking about a story over 40 years ago…just so cool. Forever Brewers fans all of them, it seems.

I would love to see this film but it is only showing in Wisconsin theater & I live in DFW

I wonder when it will be available to purchase & with what streaming service

I'm in the same boat with you.  I live across the pond now.  I did email the producers and they responded that right now the plan initially is just to release it in theaters in WI but they are hoping to bring it to non-WI areas.  They said they will announce if that happens on their socials.

That is all good and well, but what areas outside of WI would there be any interest other than a few people here and there who have left the state?

Not trying to rain on your parade, but I just doubt that ever happens...

Just got home from seeing this and it was freaking excellent.  I had reservations about seeing a movie that celebrates losing the World Series, but it was sooooo much more than that.

I had tears in my eyes 3 times, and I'm not a movie crier...

It was awesome!

If you haven't seen it yet, better hurry!  It will NOT be the same on a small screen, this is a BIG screen experience, trust me!

Well done....no way is this a movie if the team wins Game 7. The parade makes it special...or more special, if that is possible. My guess is that the fans were halfway shocked the players would even want to ride around in downtown Milwaukee after losing and the team was fully shocked of the overwhelming response.  The parade makes the story.

My son saw this last night in Madison. A friend got him free tickets. He said it was just a blast. I went to the '82 World Series - game 5. So freaking close! He said I'll love it.
