Unsurprisingly, Tyler Anderson has regressed in the early going after moving from the Dodgers to the Angels. He's up against Brewers ace, Wade Miley.

The Angels actually have a chance to be respectable this season after picking up a bunch of depth pieces to go along with Trout and Ohtani. But they suffered a big blow to that when young catcher Logan O'Hoppe went down a few days ago.

If you're in the MKE area, I recommend getting down to AmFam just to watch Ohtani. He's worth the price of admission by himself and it's not as if the Angels come 'round these parts often.

My first game of the year! Sitting in 316.

Of course, I am the guy who has seen 8 Brewer runs and three shut outs in his last six games. AND I pick a game against a left-hander.

Someday I will use my power for good.

This is my Brewer experience.  0-2 this year.  6-1 to the Cards and then the 12-5 late inning blowup against the Sox.

There are times I wonder what would have happened had the Crew been able to land Ohtani in 2018...

Brewers are never landing that big-time of a player from Japan. We were never seriously in the picture.

Would like to see this lineup tonight:

Yelich LF

Brosseau 3B

Adames SS

Contreras DH

Anderson RF

Voit 1B

Wiemer CF

Caratini C

Miller 2B

Think we could score some runs tonight with that lineup. Naturally, though, CC’s lineup probably won’t look anything like this and will almost certainly involve Brosseau leading off and Yelich hitting 3rd…

Move Yelich down to 9th spot, and move everybody else up 1 spot!

But, we get the superstars from South Korea like Thames and Lindblom!

Nothing in that sentence rhymes.

They are paying him anyways, just start Hiura for three games and see if he really can hit lefties. Perkins is useless.

In the days before the DH in the NL that's something we've done. String of games vs AL clubs, bring up someone to DH.

Since then the NL has added the DH, and we've seen Hiura try to hit lefties.

I imagine Perkins will be here until they deem Taylor ready.

I wish Ohtani was scheduled to start here in Milwaukee.  Even though he'd be tough on the Brewers, he's an opposing pitcher worth coming out to see.

I am happy he is not pitching!

I just want wins!

I can watch him pitch elsewhere easy enough if I want!

Joey Wiemer over the last 7 games: .348/.375/.608. Kid might be figuring it out at the plate. Already at a .7 bWAR/.5fWAR due to the value he provides in the field and on the basepaths.

Hey he still be more than fine.

Even when he doesn't rhyme

He may not have all the time.

In his stead we can just mime.
