For all the insanity of this year to be sitting, what, 5 games over and in first.... playing a AAA lineup for the most part.... Imagine if we get people back and by July we start cooking,..... We could really run away with this mediocre division. Don't worry, crossed my fingers when I typed that. No jinx.

Not only will we be getting guys back but the usual strain the long season that starts to show up in August will be somewhat mitigated.

There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

If he's hitting homers now, you gotta give him another shot as opposed to just DFAing him when he comes off the IL.

94 EV HR. Hard to get excited about that.

Another shot. Not saying to give him a long leash. We've got Singleton playing right now.

Cousins was optioned a few days ago but since he was injured he  gets major league pay and service time and that option is rescinded.

Good 'ol Ivy League thinking on Cousins' part. Let's see if he can milk it as long as Nick Franklin did with his hamstring on an attempted 1-day call-up a few years ago.

Free Clayton Andrews/Abner Uribe!

Miller is batting practice. They need to DFA him and give the roster spot to Andrews and get a better arm on the shuttle and one with a along-term future as well.

Cool. In my mind he was not going to be able to heal, complete rehab work and get into enough of a groove to help the MLB club this season. Would be wonderful to have Ashby back.

Adding LHP Thomas Pannone to the 40-man MLB roster at this time is interesting, given that it’s now full and we may need to add rehabbing RHP Jason Alexander and/or LHP Justin Wilson soon.

But who knows? Maybe Tyrone Taylor, Jake Cousins, Bennett Sousa, Ethan Small and/or Eric Lauer would be moved to the 60-day injured list to create space.

I feel like I’ve heard nothing about Tyrone since he went back on the IL. I know he got a second PRP injection but have heard nothing about timelines. Feel like he could definitely be pushed to the 60-day.

Thinking the same thing until this from McCalvy this morning.

I think Alexander is DFA as soon as he is ready to go. They have a better version of Alexander in Rea. However, do think they have too many fringe relief pitchers on the 40 man that have not been real good.

Tapia also seems like an easy DFA candidate when Taylor is ready again or Frelick gets the call.
