When Gasser learns how to throw strikes we can revisit this and Stearns gets no credit for Contreras who has disappointed or Payamps since he quit before that trade was made.

So you get to make all these excuses and stipulations just so you can continue to be incredibly negative all the time. Must be a fun way to be a fan!

That's why these guys have been so tough to watch , when they get down they just can't string hits together or when they do its with two outs and then can't come up with a clutch hit, it seems we have seen this for the last few years or so . It seems we are back to HR or strike out again  thought we would see less of that this year .

Everyone has their gripes about this team, so I'll pile on.

I'm sick of BA showing up whenever his contract allows.

Today, I counted 3 times that he mispronounced Joey Wiemer's name.

It isn't WIMER BA, It's Weeeeemer!

The guy no longer offers anything to this team.  He no longer knows anything about this team except for what notes some producer throws on the table just before the game starts.

I mean seriously, he can't pronounce a kids name who has been playing pretty much every game this season?

I hope we are done with BA after this season, no more 30 game contracts.

I would be very happy to see Attanasio sell the team. Its clear he doesn't have the deep pockets necessary to get this team to win a World Series. He did better than Bud at the end but his ceiling as an owner has been reached which wasn't very high to begin with.

Yeah maybe the next owner will realize there are a dozen larger markets in the country that would love a baseball team, that way they can make more money and spend more money.

I want Tim Allen in the broadcast booth!  A real hometown guy who watches every single pitch of the season!

Stearns gets credit if Ruiz turns into a star but he gets no credit or blame for Contreras and Payamps since he quit before that deal was made.

He is good at what he does so some don't know but he is blind.

Wouldn't even say he's good at what he does.  Last thing I want on the broadcast is a complete homer.

Anyone have any realistic insight for how to improve this Brewers offense?

The coaches seem to have no clue.

Hats for bats.  Keep bats warm.

I've been around enough fan boards to see pretty much all the various types. His schtick is typical, it gets a little tedious, but the content, the fact that he appears to believe some of what he says, and the predictability of when he does & doesn't show up is actually kind of funny. I suspect he's on ignore for a lot of posters, but for others it's comic relief.

And it is also equally plausible that MA might also do that.

Or the Crew can get a new owner that might not.

My speculation is that this will probably happen within the next 3-5 years.

Yeah, patience.

Stay the course with the development of the teams position prospects, it’s the only way. It’s not going to happen trading 2-3 of our best prospects to acquire a 2 years controlled stud position player. This offense is way more than 1 upgrade away.

If the team decides to sell-off 2 months from now, they can add enough prospect talent to the organization to give them as much talent as any team in baseball — then add 1.5 years for the big-league development and OD of ‘25 the 5+ year serious WS contention window can begin.

If they hold and try to contend this year, add another year to the SERIOUS WS contention beginning and subtract a little organizational talent.

Unfortunately this is a very accurate outlook, very short term success (3-5 years). This city really cannot afford to have a consistent winner in the MLB. You could lump them in with Oakland, Kansas City, Tampa, Cincinnati and Pittsburg. This is just the business model of MLB for the past 100 years. Until that changes there will always be the Haves (NY, LA) and the Have-nots.  Unless Milwaukee can find their Peter Seidler, there is just not enough money here and geographically it is much too close to Chicago for any sustained success Look at the Brewers history, the best we have ever had is a 5 year run with over 20 years between runs. I would be surprised if the Brewers don’t move to another city within in next 10 years. It sure seems to be the plan of the MLB elite leaders after last week’s commissioner visit.

Nevertheless, he said on the radio yesterday that he "watches" every pitch ... strange ... maybe he sees with his mind?
