Word is the Bucks have Kendrick Nunn and Aaron Holiday atop their reserve point guard list. Nunn would be riskiest due to his injury history - but offers some nice upside.

Holiday is Jrue’s brother.

Either on a minimum deal would be fine.

I'd like Nunn. I think we might have something in Mannion. Not a star or part of some hypothetical future core, but a competent PG who can create a little bit.

Watching Jackson in the Summer League, I see the appeal. The Draymond Green comps as a passer make total sense. He just sees the plays ahead of time. One play that stands out, they swung the ball to him, Tako was just getting inside position and it was almost a touch pass by Jackson. Hit his hands and it almost looked like he was setting the ball in Volleyball. Actually made Tako Fall look good!

Mannion has been terrible imo, and his rights belong to GSW anyway so not sure why he's even playing with us.

Nunn is probably the best PG left on the market by a long shot but man I'd have a really hard time rooting for him considering his off court issues.

I see the club got Crowder for veteran's minimum. I guess his lackluster performance really dimmed his value. I thought he'd get at least $5m or something.

Good for us.

Well, last year did no favors to Crowder... bad attitude with Phoenix led him to not playing for half the year.  Then a forced trade and poor performance post-trade...

He probably could've gotten more than the minimum somewhere, but this is probably the type if deal he needs to take to stay with a contender.  And he said he wants to play with the Bucks, right?

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

With the last two signings the Bucks are at or above the second apron.  Note that the second apron takes in the bonuses even if the bonuses are not earned or will not be earned.

The NBA has the second apron as what could be the team’s maximum salary so it takes in the bonuses as if they are paid out.  This then gets us to the teams max salary which the second apron is counted as.  So no manipulating that second apron by teams with unattainable bonuses.  Those bonuses count no matter what.

The Bucks are currently $5m over the second apron.

He's a RFA. His rights don't belong to anyone.

The Warriors did offer him a 2-way after the summer league so, they probably saw something.

Once they decided to front load Lopez, it was pretty much a certainty. I'm sure they explored trade options before officially signing Lopez...but Houston pushing his contract up in FA was the last realistic chance if they keep Allen and Connaughton. And they kinda need to keep those two after losing Ingles, Carter and being real thin at Guard.

Okay, so now we have LED glass floors for basketball courts. Sure, a whole new way to advertise, but it could be really neat to have explosion graphics after a 3-pointer or to play highlights during a timeout. Plus you could have a different-look basketball court every single game. We can just go ahead and put a blue line a third of the way up the court and no offensive player may cross the line ahead of the basketball.

It's gonna be pretty annoying when some Shaq sized player lands on it rough and breaks it. (I'm sure it's probably touted as strong enough to withstand, but still)

Hello Milwaukee Taxpayers:  We need more tax money at the Fiserv Forum so we can pay for a new LCD floor.

If the Brewers scoreboard "needs" to be replaced every 5-10 years, how does that fare for this?

Not going to work well at facilities that have Basketball and Ice Hockey, I would think.

On the positive side -- have custom spots outside of the 3-point line for 4, 5, 6 pointers.  NBA Jam:  HE'S ON FIRE!!!!!

Yeah, I do wonder in a decade or two how much taxpayers will really go for paying for the stadiums. If you're going to pay for half, you're probably better off with the city buying the whole team, too.

I'd be up for at least moving the three-point line back. Basically no difference in shooting percentage a couple feet into the line, but a decent drop a foot or so behind it. Also to keep the whole thing as a circle and eliminate the corner 3 as an option, which would also get that corner player moving around more. The point at which centers started to be evaluated on their three-point shooting was a good sign the line was too close.

Ice Hockey would be awesome!  Everytime someone gets checked, you could have a star-shaped collision graphic... if they fall, cracked ice all around them.

But imagine the impacts to soccer... they could have an actual moveable offsides line following the last defensive player around. Offsides would finally be clear!😂

Not sure a 33 year old Lillard is the answer but it is answer to something

#1 - should show Giannis that the bucks are serious about winning.

#2 - same age as Holiday for a 2029 1st, 2 swaps, and Allen. Seems like an OK trade by me.

Just heard. What?????

Will miss Holiday's defense, but it's also reasonable to say he's slowing down a smidge. And Grayson wasn't seeing the court in crucial minutes because he can't play defense.

And what's best is so much of the offensive load was being thrown on Giannis, but not any more. Good luck trying to triple team Giannis now!

Wowzers. I hate that my first thought was that I hope the Bucks don't get Aaron Rodgers-ed. But it's not like injuries haven't been happening to Giannis, Khris or Jrue anyway.

I am so pumped about this. Dame is going to come in hungry. No offense to Jrue but we’re adding a true superstar.

Lillard averaged 32 pts a game as a 32 year old. I doubt he falls off a cliff in the  ext year or two. Chris Paul is like 58 years old and can still ball pretty good.

We must be in luxury tax hell right now.

cap hit on LIlliard this year is 45MM, holiday ~37MM, allen ~9MM. just means one more minimum salary guy on the bench.

I really don't understand this trade from the Suns point of view.  I know Ayton wasn't always the easiest to work with, but nothing they got back is even close to matching Ayton in worth.

I also don't know how this works financially for Milwaukee.  Lillard just signed a new supermax extension, he's owed over 60 million a year I believe.  The salary we gave up does not equal out unless there are other factors in play.
