Peralta couldn't get the job done yesterday due to one big(ish) inning, hopefully Burnes will do better as the Brewers try to leave Cleveland with a series win....

You almost need to throw shut-out baseball to get a win with our lineup.ย ๐Ÿ˜•

25% of the time - 19 of 76 games - the Brewers have scored 1 or 0 runs. That is unacceptable & falls squarely on the shoulders of GM Matt Arnold for assembling such a terrible offensive roster.ย

Andy Haines has to go! Oh wait.ย

Am I doing this right?

Is it really Arnold's fault that a bunch of established/semi-established players are having the worst seasons of their career? How is a GM supposed to predict that so many players will have 10th percentile outcome seasons.ย

Adames - 86 wRC+ vs 109 wRC+ last season

Tellez - 84 wRC+ vs 110 wRC+ last season

Winker - 59 wRC+ vs 108 wRC+ last season

Urias - 61 wrC+ vs 110 wRC+ last season

Taylor - 8 wRC+ vs 102 wRC+ last season

Brosseau - 75 wRC+ vs 118 wRC+ last seasonย

I don't really know how you can blame a GM for not predicting that.ย

Basically traded one of the worst hitting coaches in baseball for the 2 that were one spot above him

Not to mention that three of our actual competent hitters - Contreras, Anderson, Miller - were acquired by Arnold this offseason.

You may very well be right

So โ€ฆ if all responsibility falls onto the players โ€ฆ

Should Winker & a few others be jettisoned - DFAโ€™d? ย
Should we simply hold out & hope they come around?

Thanks a lot Perkins..

Not sure how that is Perkins fault there. ย His momentum took him off the base just bad luck there as the base was stolen if that doesnโ€™t happen.

Yelich has been solid this year

Much improved, no doubt ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ™Œ

Nowhere near his best Brewers seasons

Somewhat close to his Miami years

Surely hope this is a sign of things to come for the next several years since we have no way of moving him with that albatross contractย

It's been half a season. If they haven't come around by now, they aren't ever going to, at least not until they're playing for another team.

I feel like the Garrett Mitchell injury is when the offense began to decline. Not sure if it is causation or correlation.

Most likely neither.ย

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

You still gotta find a way to stay on the base. Throw wasn't even close.ย
