But to be fair, I admit I don't have the hatred for the Cubs that many of you do. I'm weird that way. I ******* hate the Cards but the Cubs are "eh, okay". I think it probably has to do with me spending quite a bit of time in Utah - a baseball dead zone, particularly in the early 90s - and the Cubs were literally the only team I could watch on the regular. I grew up watching a lot of Sandberg, Dawson, Grace, Dunston, etc. 

I don't cheer for the Cubs but I don't wish death on them, either. They're just kinda... there.

And I totally get it. I feel that way about the White Sox, actually.

But it's not a Twins fandom thing because I don't feel that way about the Guardians at all. I guess I just choose one team to hate in a division and in the NLC, it's the Cardinals.

Agreed, he needs to be a little smarter the way he throws his body around. There have been some that never learned the lesson and had shortened careers due to it.

JJ Hardy might be the most valuable player in the history of the Brewers franchise when its all said and done...
