Time to lay down the hurt on a lefty! I'd probably do something like this:

LF Yelich (72 wRC+ vs. LHP in 2023)
DH Contreras (173)
1B Santana (98)
SS Adames (91)
RF Canha (105)
2B Monasterio (162)
3B Anderson (75)
C Caratini (80)
CF Wiemer (143)

Although Frelick does have a 1229 wRC+ in his 1 plate appearance against a lefty (a homerun) so far... so if you decide to give Yeli a day off against the LHP, he could be tempting to throw into the mix as well ;) Taylor's also traditionally better against lefties than he's show so far this year as well (124 wRC+ vs. LHP from 2020-22), so it might be nice getting him into the lineup today as well to see if it will help him get going.

After last night this is the guy they want to face, winless, first game back in the majors in months and his name is Falter. What could go wrong.

Cubs punching back at the Braves. 5-0 after 1.ย

Braves have hit two homers so far, difference is against the brewers they made sure to get a couple of guys on before they went big ๐Ÿ˜‚

Also it's quite incredible to see Matt Olson with 92 RBIs a week into August. What on earth

One of the better offenses of all time. Right up there with the '82 Brewers.ย

The Braves only have one HR so far today.ย

Canha gets 3 hits last night and his reward a seat on the bench tonight. He probably walked into the clubhouse and was like does this happen here all the time?Guys look away nodding except for Willie....

It's just with a lefty effort, and tbf Tyrone Taylor has looked more like himself with a couple of Homers I think against lefties in his last two games, plus brings better defense and a chance to let Yelich rest

Canha hits right and can play center or whatever. No way Wiemer after that horrible game last night should be starting over him. There is no explanation other than Counsell is just not paying attention.ย

Canha is not playing CF for the Brewers. Wiemer is also the Brewers' second best hitter vs. LHP with a .919 OPS...

Maybe CC knows a little more than you.ย

Wiemer has been excellent against lefties this season, he's slugged big time and has also looked more playable at the plate of late

I'm slightly surprised Turang is in there but he's looked so smooth, excited to see if he can keep it going

Burnes for a shutout anyone?

There might be something of very slightly notable consequence that may happen in the Reds game that shouldn't be mentionedย

Like the Reds coming back from a 6-0 deficit to win? That may or may not happen.ย

I hate myself for saying anything. If they come back it's definitely on me ๐Ÿ˜‚
