Canha is not playing CF for the Brewers. Wiemer is also the Brewers' second best hitter vs. LHP with a .919 OPS...

Maybe CC knows a little more than you.

Bro why don't you simmer a bit on the takes that try to cut down another man's opinion. Unless this is a Counsell burner he doesn't care about your defense of everything he does.

Yeah, I'm just a fan, and blissfully ignorant of all the new analytics stats (If I wanted to learn all that math and secret codes, I wouldn't have gone to law school).

But why keep a struggling 203-hitting Adames in the lineup, and at cleanup no less, while Canha, who went 3 for 5 is on the bench??  I'd love for the result to show I'm wrong.

One of the better offenses of all time. Right up there with the '82 Brewers.

I think I’d take the ‘27 Yankees over the Braves.

Lol. I don't defend everything he does. You must have missed the several in-game threads this year where I've criticized some of his lineup decisions.

But Wiemer is literally our second best hitter against LHP with an OPS over .900. So, something tells me he is paying attention and you might not necessarily be.

Because Canha isn’t a shortstop and the Brewers value defense…..especially at that spot.

Now you could easily make the argument that he shouldn’t be hitting 4th but I’m not at all surprised that an excellent SS is in the lineup with a ground ball pitcher on the mound.

Ps what someone did yesterday is also not something that analytical departments put much stock in.

Cubs punching back at the Braves. 5-0 after 1.

Helped by a Matt Olson error where he didn't stay down on the ball!!

Resulting two unearned runs were the difference.

Even great fielding first basemen make errors from time to time.

I hate myself for saying anything. If they come back it's definitely on me 😂

I was hoping that my bringing it up would serve as a counter curse.

So the Braves offense couldn't overcome their poor run prevention?

Frelick a platoon guy already? Didn't he homer against a lefty? Just play the best players. It's not hard.

Tyrone is 1-1 with a single and you're complaining about him being in the lineup.

Surely this line up will get some runs the second time through against this awful lefty...

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

They will get some runs. And don't call me Shirley.
