Absolutely no excuse not to score a bunch of runs in this series and possibly sweep. The Rockies are bad. Really bad. That being said, we can’t beat bad teams so buckle up.

Would like to see the top of the order look like this going forward:

1. Frelick

2. Contreras

3. Yelich

4. Santana

Draw names out of a hat from there but Adames shouldn’t even be sniffing the top 4.

Not sure about Frelick, yet:

Please let tonight be fun...

Well Brent Suter is back so maybe he will provide some entertainment and the return of the Jurassic Park theme.

I really don’t see any outcome where they win this series. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games, they were very lucky to win Saturday’s game plus they can’t hit squat. They will continue to fight it out to the very last series this year to determine which one of the 3 teams make the playoffs in this division. My money is on the Cubs.

Man, Frelick's walk rate is ridiculous. Should be a perfect leadoff hitter sometoday.

Fixed. 😉

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Adames and Wiemer out of the lineup.

Both were due a day off.  I am hoping Wiemer starts to platoon more in CF.  Unfortunately his perfect platoon partner is currently injured in Mitchell.  I think next year we will see Wiemer and Mitchell platooning a bit more in CF.

Wondering if there was a sit-down with Yelich & he said he'd rather stay in leadoff. Of course that would assume they wanted to move him down a couple spots in the first place, which is a big assumption.

Frelick HAS shown a propensity to drive in runs. But yeah, leadoff would be a nice spot for him.
