Wiemers pre-launch bat waving seems to be getting even worse as the year goes.

You think he would start quieting things down.

You mean one of the two hitting instructors would say son it's hard to hit something moving 95 mph if you are moving the stick.

If he would just swing easier when he has two strikes and make contact

He might have the worst mechanics I have seen in a big leaguer in my life time.

I absolutely can’t stand watching him hit.  It legit pisses me off.

Hunter pence would drop his hands like that too

I don't ever recall seeing a Major League hitter lay the bat completely flat in the middle of the zone before retracting vertically to a proper launch point

That high front foot lift for Santana is constantly late getting to the ground and that's why he can't catch up to stuff up in the zone.

You’re right.   Wiemer goes above and beyond.     I was just saying that pence used to drop his hands pre movement.   Wiemer is just ridiculous what he does with the bat before he swings or gets into his launch angle

The only guy I remember a bit odd like that was Cal ripken but his footwork was much cleaner.

I think we can stop talking about easy teams and strength of schedule.  It's day by day with this team.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

I just don't see any way this team can go on any meaningful run.

That’s why I was hoping the Brewers would be willing to part with one of their load of “can’t miss” prospects as part of a deal for someone who has already established that he can hit MLB pitching.

No idea if that was even a possibility.

They can't.  That's why all this talk of getting in the playoffs and going on a run is so strange.

I have to admit Jimenez would have made a nice addition.

At least the Brewers might not have to worry about who will be called in to protect a lead in the seventh inning.

Should’ve sold and started to rebuild. Even if they manage to hang on in the Central is there anyone here who thinks they could actually win a series in the playoffs? … they can’t even issue a beat down on the laughingstock (CWS) of the majors.
