Sadly, I think this Dodgers series is a "dont get swept" kind of series.

Agreed, based on Vegas odds for first two games, and assuming 5o/50 odds for game 3:

Brewers win:
0 games: 23%
1 game: 45%
2 games: 27%
3 games: 5%

Just don’t get swept. We’ll be lucky to score enough runs in any game to win and none of our big three are pitching so this is going to be a tough series. Hopefully the Cubs and Reds lose a couple of games in their respective series.

We have the warrior spirit!

Since losing their 6th game in a row on June 14th to fall to five hundred at 34-34, the Brewers have gone 31-20 in the two months since.

Only the Braves (33-16) and Dodgers (32-16) have a better record since 6/16 with the Orioles matching the Brewers at 31-20.

Team wRC+ has been 92 over that stretch. Hardly world beating, but a notable step up from the 79 wRC+ they posted from 4/21 through 6/14 while going 20-29 after starting the season 14-5.

I thought Burnes was pitching Thursday?  If not him then Woody could go on normal rest right?

Oh shoot, that’s right. Burnes on Thursday. That’s probably our most winnable game then.

I can already say there's no way I'll be able to stay up long enough to see the ending of this one.

I may not be able to stay awake long enough to see the beginning of this game

This game won't start until after 10 pm down here.  I'll try to stay awake...

Fun fact: The Braves' current team wRC+ (125) is tied with the 1927 Yankees as the highest in the modern era (since 1900)...

Confirms what we all witnessed in Atlanta.

Kevin Seitzer is hands down the best hitting coach in the MLB right now.

Yeah. I'd definitely want to interview him if CC does step down after the season. Could do wonders for our young hitting prospects.
