I don't think they need to IL him if it's not that severe given the expanded roster. But you definitely give him some days off here and let Frelick settle into the leadoff spot.

The bigger immediate concern is how Miley will respond to being warmed up and ready to go and then shutting down.

Yeah, an IL stint may be over-reacting but I'd strongly consider *a lot* of rest.

Better to play a double header tomorrow with the pitchers having warmed up I think. I don't see Miley starting if this thing is played at this point.

No, but it looks like it could be a significant delay. There are slow moving thunderstorms in the area with heavy rain.

Actually, the forecast of more storms for tomorrow probably makes this impossible. They have to play today.
