This year doesn’t really matter as far as wins and losses.  Just show you have the ability and progress throughout the year.  That’s all I truly care about.

Same. I think we're one more really good draft away and another year for Love.

But Love's upside is enough that you work on that OL and keep developing the young players, I think we'll be fine. Love has shown how good he can be. They made the right call...I say with about ~80% confidence.

Holy smokes did we ever draft the wrong St. Brown brother.

And we drafted the wrong Rodgers instead of the right St. Brown

Yeah, I get mad every time I think about it.

It isn't like Douglas is a bad CB either... Stokes does have to re-"win" the starting spot.

No, but he's a different type of CB. He's more suited to zone and if you have Stokes and Jaire, then he can play vs the bigger slot or better TEs(like LaPorta...who he had nearly perfect coverage on for that long pass).

But specifically with Stokes and Jaire's strengths, to play so much zone early last year was baffling. And we were talking more about Stokes. But sure, Douglas has become pretty well rounded.

Also, "starting" CB is a...vague term. You are starting 3 pretty much. So Stokes, Douglas and Jaire are all starters IMO.

Another special teams penalty and this one was the dagger. Why in God's name would you do anything on that FG other than sit back and be grateful they were only kicking the FG?

Quay Walker seems like a guy you will be happy the day he is gone even if he is a good player. I mean come on man.

Give me a break.  Without him the Lions score 50

I'll give Walker the benefit of the doubt there. Looked like he jumped up and then the dude when for his feet so he just lifted his knees to go over him. I don't think he intended to jump over the guy

Oxymoronic penalty. Unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on a demonstration of athletic skill, which didn’t offend anyone’s sensibilities, deliberately injure a player, or taunt an opponent. The NFL can make such a play illegal—which I disagree with—but at least call the penalty something else.
