Turang being allowed to hit…

Bad base running by Adames andYelich

Awful pitching by best pitcher and like our fifth best pitcher this year

Winker batting there….and making the roster even. And being allowed to keep hitting after getting hurt… and not having him hit live MLB putching the last five games.. and and and…and letting this goof play and hit #2 for half the season…. And Hiura

Nah Hiura and Tyler Black can't be given a shot when you've got hitters like Turang, Wiemer, and Winker to choose instead.

The same doom and gloom, though. Every time.

Our stars let us down tonight.  It's a brand  spanking new day tomorrow.

Doom and gloom about some random game in May seems irrational.

Doom and gloom when you are literally one loss away from playoff elimination after you blew your best matchup seems quite reasonable and understandable.

I get the frustration. Of course I feel it too.

But the season didn't end tonight. I'm going to enjoy the heck out of one more baseball game, win or lose, and feel good about a season where we won the damn division.

Everyone can engage with baseball how they want. But the nature of the sport and the nature of being a small-market fan make basing a season's worth of results on a three-game series a losing proposition for me. I guess, at the end of the day, I just watch baseball for more than just the possibility of a World Series. That's there, sure. It hurts when it's no longer possible in a given year. But it always feels like a bonus more than anything.

Again, maybe that makes me weird. I accept. I just have more fun being weird, personally speaking, than I have being anything else.

Nyjer Morgan's throwing out the first pitch tomorrow. I'll be wearing my Gomez shirsey and trying to manifest at least one more homefield elimination game.

F the luck of that Longoria catch.  game changing play there.

I think I've said it before, but I think whatever team hands Burns his 250+ mil deal is going to regret it.  He's good but not true top top Cy Young level like the guys who have actually lived up to those type of contracts like Max, Cole, etc.

He gave it all he had, but he had a bad day. It happens in sports.

Regular season success just isn't enough anymore since we've had no playoff success at all since 2018. No wonder why Counsell is probably chomping at the bit to get out of town.

That's probably true but he is accountable for part of the failure. He needs a fresh start and so do we.

Fans should think that, sure.

But if the players are going in afraid of facing good pitchers, this series is over before it starts anyway.

They might not be afraid of facing a good pitcher but they might be incapable of hitting one.

This was a game the Brewers really needed to win and they laid a major egg on several fronts.

The team that won the first game won every series in the wild card round last year and only one of them went 3 games. The Brewers have put themselves into a tough spot.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I seemingly post this every year at the end of the season, I feel like that’s now.

Baseball breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall all alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops.

Questioning my love for this team at the moment. But I know I’ll be back next February. Until then, go Crew.

I don’t even know if I’m mad at Turang batting with the bases loaded anymore.   Cc would have hit winker there anyways.     What’s the difference

Can't wait to see what washed up, hoping for a revival, one year deal hitter they sign next off season. That ought to fix the offense, right?

It'll probably be Canha who everyone besides me seems to want back.

Yep. The fans of very single team will have doom and gloom anger on their bulletin chat boards about players and manager.

Except one.

It hits home that we saw Burnes last Brewers start and it wasn't awesome. Feels kinda fitting. Very interested to see what they can get back. Also the whole Caratini thing is a question. Why did Contreras start catching him all of a sudden? I would have just left it as is for one game. It's not like Canha did anything.

I can't remember him having a good at-bat tonight. He'll need to do better tomorrow.

I really hope we trade him regardless of what happens this postseason.

It's admirable that you guys are just satisfied with the journey.

There's also nothing wrong with expecting more from the destination. We deserve to expect more instead of just always being satisfied with 2nd level accomplishments like a division title. I don't even know where I'm going with that, because I had no illusions that this team was going to compete with Atlanta or Los Angeles.

He did get beaned once. I guess you can call that a good at bat for this team.

That’s exactly it.   This team was never going to compete for a WS so I’m not sure why I’m so disappointed.

I want to win the world series and anything less is disappointing but the complete lack of postseason success since 2018 is unacceptable.
