NL Wild Card Game 1-Diamondbacks (Pfaadt) vs Brewers (Burnes): 10/3/23, 6:08pm

Took a break from the game only to come back to watch Winker k on 3 straight to open the bottom of the 8th...turning it back off now, as some things never change for this damn team come playoff time.

Why in the hell is Winker on this roster?

Winker swung 3 times and struck out. Incompetent buffoon. I can do the same and I could actually do some fielding and I wont demand 8 million or whatever

Good to have Winker and Wiemer on the roster when Tyler Black never got a shot at the end of the season.

This team trying to outsmart itself constantly. Blatantly clear choices and they take a guy hitting below the Mendoza line

Too bad the pitcher doesn't bat anymore. I would plunk that guy.

Too bad we can't actually make him pay with the bats.

They’re done.   They were done from the 3rd inning on.   The offense was always going to be their downfall.  This should t be a surprise at all.

The combination of bad luck and dumb outs on the bases might be too much to overcome. Going to have to get the best of Sewald, who was pretty bad in the postseason last year.

I know the Brewers offense is bad but I don't think the D'Backs are ballsy enough to let a reliever hit.

I actually found it kind of funny.  The reaction seemed a little delayed because he was shocked that Yelich swung at the garbage he threw.

There is an 80% chance Winker goes on the DL tomorrow with a back strain and we get Mitchell back.

Can we have the one useless AB back that he gave us?

Burnes was crap period.    Screw him

In theory, we get ahead and our pitching wins the game for us. Burnes wasn't what we needed today.

Great decision Counsell/Arnold you cut the guy loose months ago, and then you bring him back for the playoffs?

Looking at the last 3 strikeouts, it appears that they are already to battle tomorrow.

I can imagine what would happen if someone did that to a Pedro Martinez team.

However put Winker on the roster and pinch hit him in the 8th needs to be fired fast. Guys work hard for 162 and we are giving away outs in the 8th of 1 run playoff game. Despicable
