Diamondbacks are better in every phase of the game.

They've been the better team than us all year long. We just had the fortune to play in a weak division.

Frelick was our best hitter when he was called up and then our hitting coaches dug their claws into him.

Until MLB got a book on him.  Same thing with Wiemer.

This franchise needs to totally revamp how they approach hitting, man. Whatever they are doing at the MLB level is just not it. Spend the money and fix it. It's not a talent issue, it's an organizational issue because it happens EVERY SINGLE YEAR regardless of who we put in the lineup.

One watches fastballs right over the plate, the next one swings wildly at crap in the dirt.  Agreed- a whole new hitting approach/coach is needed.

Although the Marlins are trying hard to stay with us I knew going in we had the worst offense in the playoffs but I hoped our pitching would not be the worst as well.

A complete overhaul needs to be done. Fundamental changes. These hitting coaches are awful, roster construction has been awful, zero bats developed. Really impressive how bad our minor league development of hitters has been.

Getting rid of the hitting coaches is going to do nothing. They need to revamp the entire org philosophy otherwise this will be the norm. Who was our last pure hitter to come through the system?  Braun?

This is exactly what concerns me regarding Chourio, Black or anyone else. We haven't developed a good hitter in so long that I have my doubts if they can.

Final game of Willy Adames era too. I can't take anymore.

If he gets traded Turang will be the everyday shortstop which is even worse.

Freddy got a little rattled after the HR. Plus, the DBacks have some guys who are MLB hitters for real.

There's such little margin for error when you just can't score. Teams have won playoff games with 2-3 runs, but it's really hard and really stressful, and to count on doing it for a whole series is going to make your life very very difficult.

Outside of Yelich and Contreras we should have new players at every spot. I don't want to hear about Chourio needing to work on this or that. Same with Black. Put the talent on the field take your lumps and become the Orioles. Enough with band aid approach.

Frelick is a good hitter than we are ruining while Wiemer is just not good.

That's part of it but the other part is he's starting to dive in at everything and collapsing his backside.

He used to be relatively quiet in the box with his feet but now he's got too many parts moving around

Hopefully the rookies in the minors can hit because the group we have now sure as hell can’t.

That's what we said last year, sadly.

The good news is, no new manager would be dumb enough to keep our hitting coaches.
