Yeah, Gary, to quite a great positional coach: It. Is. Time.

Definitely miss Kevin Greene.

All-Time great sequence. "It. Is. Time." And then Clay slices inside and comes up with a game-saving forced fumble.

Gary has been a "non-factor" for months?

LOL...who are you watching?

No, you're right. Need him to start showing up today but he's had some nice games in December and in Dallas.

They're going to lean on their defense....feels like they might have a shot play before half to try and score a td though

Can Barry handle it better than Pettine?

SF clearly playing for a FG which is a bit odd. They had plenty of time.

Yeah, just a fg is kinda a gift

Hard for me to envision Barry coming with anything aggressive here.

I could see a screen to McCaffery here if they bring 5. So...just don't let someone behind them(obviously).

It really is. SF is not playing aggressively...which is more than alright with me.

As good as Shanahan is, he plays tight in close games. It's easy to open it up when you're running as they have in the past, but in close games he's ultra conservative.

AND THE ROOKIE WOODEN WITH A TIP!!!!

Shanahan really gave us a break running the clock down all the way before taking a time out. If that was McCarthy he would've been trending #1 on the X.

Hey that works for me!  Shame it didn't get blocked into returnability territory, that would have been just like 2(?) Years ago

Really weird offensive series for the 49ers. They had like 4 minutes and wasted a ton of time playing for the FG and didn't even get that.

It's just gutless. They don't trust their OL in pass pro though.

Hopefully Shanahan's past repeats itself in tight games.

I was referring to the 49ers leaning on their defense as a reason they are Uber conservative at the end of the half.

Feels like making a couple plays would've had the Packers up by more than 7 at the half....but being down 1 against the 49ers isn't the end of the world, either.

This team is growing up fast

It seems the game plan is to once again control the clock but it's costing them stalling in the red zone. I think they need to take more shots downfield once they get past the 50. It's working between the 20s anyway.

I think boy genius outsmarted himself. He was way over occupied with making sure they could take a two score lead in the 3rd and forgot the scoring now part.

It's amazing to me how often it seems like everyone screaming to spike the ball to preserve a timeout forgets that it also burns a down - especially if the preceeding play isn't a 1st down.

All in all, it may not be being up 27-7 but hard to be upset at the position we are in.

It's just the 49ers being more stout in the red zone compared to recent opponents - Love isn't getting enough time for some of these plays to free up receivers.  Would like to see a back shoulder fade or jump ball to Watson down there when it starts getting compressed - at least take 1 shot at it.
