2024 Brewers Optimism Thread!

Probably the most encouraged about our young lineup since the days of Hardy, Weeks, Braun, Hart, and Fielder in 2007.  Knowing we have our almost entire lineup for the next 5-6 years…and knowing we have speed, power, and contact hitters in there with Chourio, Turang, Black, Mitchell, Contreras, and Frelick. And veteran Yelich there too.

with arms like Knoth not far behind - this is the healthiest the Brewer organization has been as a whole (MLB all the way down through Rookie Ball/DSL) that I can remember.

Brewers are only a game behind the Dodgers.  A good weekend and they move into the 2 seed.

Milwaukee is on pace to win 93 games and has a five game lead in the division.

Plus, we have a lot of talented players scheduled to return to the team soon.

getting Williams and JP  back elimate any Need to waste on Trading for any Reliever thankfully.

 They imo need another quality Bat in the lineup

but the Biggest need is another starter who can go deep and not tax this Bullpen they don't need a 1 but a solid 2-3 Type.

Yep! All these players back from the injured list is like our very own trade deadline acquisitions without having to give anyone away. Not too shabby and should help us in the 2nd half.

Considering the thread, perhaps he thinks each pick was daft and overly optimistic.

Since 2018, their record after the ASB is 204-142. That's 59%, with four of the five seasons being over 60%. If they won at that 59% pace the rest of the year, they would end up with 93 wins.

Lets hope Freddie Peralta can step it up a little bit in the second 1/2 and can make it into the 6th inning without being pulled.
