LOL.  I appreciate the attempt.  Backup catchers, shortstops and center fielders need to be on the bench...but Bauers holding a spot on the 26 man in order to backup first base might be a first.  I'm guessing this is Murphy sending a signal to Arnold...

I’m not disagreeing with you … I’m asking an honest question too … Who is the backup first baseman if Bauers is the DH? I guess he could be & we lose the DH for the remainder of the game.

I guess Contreras goes to 1B and Sanchez catches.

Bauers could be one of those we gotta justify the deal type situations the Brewers sometimes are known for. If he isn't going to be in the lineup tonight then he really has no role although I know they want to make sure Hoskins is good to go.

Dunn has the role a lot of us envisioned (going into spring training) for Tyler Black.
